West Hardin Water Supply Corporation Members BOIL WATER NOTICE

The Texas Commission on Environmental Quality (TCEQ) required the public water system West Hardin Water Supply Corporation to issue a Boil Water Notice to notify customers, individuals or employees, that due to a low distribution pressure, the water from the public water system was required to be boiled prior to use for drinking or human consumption, cooking, brushing teeth, making ice, and washing hands/face. Boiling the water is to ensure destruction of all harmful bacteria and other microbes. The water should be brought to a vigorous rolling boil and then boiled for two monutes.
Once the boil water notice is no longer in effect, the public water system officials will notify you that the water is safe for consumption. The recind notice will be issued in the same manner as this boil water notice.
Please share this information with all the other people who drink this water, especially those who may not have received this notice directly.
