This notice is a precautionary measure and notification to protect our customers.
The Texas Commission on Environmental Quality (TCEQ) has required our public water system West Hardin WSC to notify customers to boil water prior to consumption. To ensure destruction of all harmful bacteria and other microbes, water for drinking, cooking and making ice, should be boiled and cooled prior to use for drinking or human consumption purposes.
