A Boil Water Notice has been issued to the Saratoga Members West of town starting at Hooks Road and going East on FM 770 to Brown Road in Saratoga.
This notice is a precautionary measure and notification to protect our customers.
The Texas Commission on Environmental Quality (TCEQ) has required our public water system West Hardin WSC to notify customers to boil water prior to consumption. To ensure destruction of all harmful bacteria and other microbes, water for drinking, cooking and making ice, should be boiled and cooled prior to use for drinking or human consumption purposes. The water should be brought to a vigorous rolling boil and then boiled for 2 minutes. In lieu of boiling, individuals may purchase bottled water or obtain water from some other suitable source.
Once the boil water notice is no longer in effect, the public water system officials will notify you that the water is safe for consumption. The rescind notice will be issued in the same manner as the boil water notice.
Please share this information with all the other people who drink this water, especially those who may not received this notice directly.
