Listed below, you will find our current rates and policies. If you do not find the information you need, please contact our office at (936) 274-5011 and we will provide it for you.

We depend on our customers to read their own meters. Unfortunately West Hardin Water Supply Corporation (WHWSC) does not have meter readers. It's the customer's responsibility to provide a meter reading every month. WHWSC will estimate a meter for 3 months but will not go beyond further months due to not knowing if a customer has a water leak, the meter is not working, and/or if WHWSC is over charging or under charging for water usage. On the 4th month WHWSC will send an operator to read the meter and a $20.00 service charge will be automatically added to the customers account.

On July 02, 2019 the Board of Directors increased the breaking a lock, tampering with a meter, or vandalism to a meter to $650.00. The new amount will cover all cost to include: equipment, material, service call, re-connect fee, labor for each operator, repair/replacement of water line, water loss, and/or water usage during the incident.

Tier (gal.): $.33 cents for every 100 gallons used up to 2000 gallons

Flushing Water Lines

We usually flush the main lines once a month. You may experience low pressure during this time. Flushing water lines may stir up some sediment causing the water to be slightly discolored. We apologize for any inconvenience this causes, but it is very important to flush lines to ensure the best quality water is produced for our customers.
